New Texas lockers replace nameplates with 43-inch TV monitors

Texas football is trying to revamp its program under the new leadership of coach Tom Herman. But first, the Longhorns revamped their locker room.

Twitter users got a fresh new look at the Longhorns' set-up, which features a 43-inch television monitor displaying personalized videos at the top of each locker where the players' nameplates used to be.

The reveal comes a week after Texas Football's Twitter account posted a video of Herman and his players beginning construction by taking a sledgehammer to the old lockers.

The Herman era in Austin is certainly off to a fashionable start. Now comes the construction on the field, for a program looking to put a 16-21 record over the past three seasons behind them.
