Plenty of college football coaches have shown off their dancing skills after rivalry wins and milestone victories. But none probably have the track record that new San Jose State running backs coach Alonzo Carter has.

Carter arrived in San Jose after nearly two decades of experience as a head coach at the high school and community college levels. Before that though, he was a backup dancer and head choreographer for "U Can't Touch This" performer MC Hammer. Yes, you read that right.

Although it's been 27 years since MC Hammer debuted his "Hammer dance" in the iconic 1990 video, Carter hasn't forgotten a single move to the song. Back in early April during the Spartans' spring practices, Carter became a viral sensation with this on-field performance, sans parachute pants:

Carter reunited with his former tour mate in San Jose State's 2017 season opener at home against South Florida on Saturday. MC Hammer was on the sidelines to catch the 42-22 USF win and caught up with Carter pregame.

San Jose State rushed for 109 yards (2.9 yards per carry) in Carter's debut as a coach.
