Ohio State debuts LeBron Soldier XI cleat ahead of Oklahoma game

No. 2 Ohio State has one of the biggest matchups of Week 2 as it takes on No. 5 Oklahoma Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

And, as premiere programs tend to do for big matchups, the Buckeyes revealed some shiny new gear ahead of the primetime showdown.

Enter: The LeBron Soldier XI cleat.

Pairing one of the state’s most beloved and famous athletes with one of the state’s most beloved and famous programs? Yeah, that’s a recipe for success.

Last season, Ohio State and LeBron got together for one of the top games of the year — No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Michigan — to debut the Soldier 10 cleat.

In case you forgot, the Buckeyes walked off in overtime of that matchup.
