GEORGIA 44, LSU 41 BOX SCORE
Aaron Murray threw four TD passes, including a 25-yarder to Justin Scott-Wesley with 1:47 remaining, and the ninth-ranked Bulldogs rallied to beat No. 6 LSU 44-41 in a thriller between SEC powerhouses. Georgia is only the fourth team since the BCS began in 1998 to face three top-10 teams in the first four games of a season. The Bulldogs opened with a 38-35 non-conference loss to Clemson, but came back to beat South Carolina 41-30 and now the Tigers. Murray is now 100 yards shy of eclipsing former UGa. QB David Greene for the most career pasing yards in SEC history.

IDAHO 26, TEMPLE 24 BOX SCORE
Temple trailed 17-3 at the half and outscored Idaho 21-9 in the second half but the Owls' rally wasn't enough despite a school-record 24 tackles -- 20 solo -- by sophomore LB Tyler Matakevich. He played in all 11 games with eight starts last year as one of four true freshmen to earn a starting role. Matakevich was the first freshman in Temple history to record 100 tackles. As a result, he was a 2013 preseason first-team All-American Athletic Conference selection by Phil Steele’s College Football. Matakevich is the first player this season with 20 solo tackles in a game and leads the nation with 11.8 solo tackles per game.

TULANE 31, LA.-MONROE 14 BOX SCORE
The Green Wave offense pounded out a season-high 253 rushing yards and the defense forced five turnovers -- three fumble recoveries and a pair of interceptions -- as Tulane capped a three-game road swing with a win at La.-Monroe. Tulane drew first blood when senior Cairo Santos drilled a 56-yard field goal on the Wave's opening possession. It was Santos' second FG of 50-plus yards and the longest by any kicker this season. Santos and Vanderbilt's Carey Spear (2) are the only kickers with more than one 50-yard field goal through Week 5. |
