Statitudes: Best numbers from Week 11

-21Michigan had minus-21 yards rushing in its 17-13 loss to Nebraska, the second game in a row it has had negative rush yards. From 2000-12, the Wolverines had one game with negative rush yards. Michigan also lost at home for the first time in 20 games under head coach Brady Hoke.
3Southern California had an NCAA-record-tying three punt returns for touchdowns – two by Nelson Agholor -- in its 62-28 victory against California. The Trojans beat the Golden Bears for the 10th consecutive time.
3Duke's DeVon Edwards had three touchdowns in the Blue Devils’ 38-20 win against NC State – two interception returns and a kickoff return. He's the only FBS player in the past 10 years with three non-offensive TDs in a game.
4LSU lost to No. 1 Alabama 38-17, its fourth consecutive defeat against an AP No. 1 team since beating Ohio State in the 2007 national title game.
4Dorial Green-Beckham is the first player in Missouri history to have four receiving touchdown in a single game. He had seven catches for 100 yards and TD receptions of 8, 7, 22 and 7 yards in the Tigers’ 48-17 win against Kentucky.
5Missouri’s Maty Mauk tied a school record with five touchdown passes in the Tigers’ 48-17 win against Kentucky. The only other player to do it was Chase Daniel, who accomplished the feat four times.
6Florida State tied a school record with six interceptions in its 59-3 win against Wake Forest. The Seminoles returned an INT and a fumble for touchdowns on consecutive plays and overall turned those turnovers into five TDs and a field goal as Florida State scored 30-plus points for the fifth consecutive time against the Demon Deacons.
7-2Duke defeated NC State 38-20 to improve to 7-2 on the season and clinch its first winning season since 1994.
9-4Alabama head coach Nick Saban is now 9-4 in LSU-Alabama games (4-1 as head coach of LSU and 5-3 at Alabama).
14Oklahoma had 14 penalties in its 41-12 loss to Baylor and only 15 completed passes.
16Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel tied his career high with five touchdown passes in the Aggies’ 51-41 win against Mississippi State. He now has at least two TD responsible for in 16 consecutive games, the longest active FBS streak. No other player has more than eight. Manziel also has thrown four TD passes in four consecutive games for the first time in his career. He is the only SEC quarterback in the past 10 seasons to do that.
18Oregon lost to Stanford 26-20 to have its 18-game road winning streak snapped.
22Vanderbilt defeated Florida 34-17 to end a 22-game losing streak against the Gators, dating to 1988. It’s just the second time in 22 meetings the Commodores won at Florida and first time since 1945.
22Pittsburgh rallied from a 21-14 third-quarter deficit to beat Notre Dame 28-21, its first win after trailing in the second half since 2009, ending a run of 22 consecutive losses in such games.
34Wake Forest lost 59-3 to No. 3 Florida State, its 34th consecutive loss to an AP top-five opponent. The Demon Deacons haven’t won such a game since Oct. 26, 1946 against No. 4 Tennessee.
40Missouri recovered a fumble in its 48-17 win against Kentucky, its 40th consecutive game with a takeaway, the longest active FBS streak. The Tigers lead the SEC in turnovers with 25.
40Texas A&M defeated Mississippi State 51-41 and has now scored 40-plus points in 13 consecutive games, tied with 2011-12 Oregon for the longest streak in major college football history.
62Southern California defeated California 62-28, the most points it has scored since putting up 69 against Washington State in 2008.
85In his first season seasons at Alabama, head coach Nick Saban has a better winning percentage (85 percent) than Bear Bryant (82 percent).
115Georgia’s Aaron Murray threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Michael Bennett for the 115th of his career, passing Florida's Danny Wuerffel for most career TD passes in SEC history. Murray, who made his 50th consecutive start in the Bulldogs’ 45-6 win against Appalachian State, had previously set SEC marks for yards passing and total offense this season.
214Auburn’s Nick Marshall had 214 rushing yards in the Tigers’ 55-23 win against Tennessee, the third-most by an SEC quarterback in the past 10 seasons. Only Johnny Manziel and Cam Newton have had more.
312Colorado State’s Kapri Bibbs had a school-record 312 rushing yards in the Rams’ 38-17 win against Nevada. That's the second-most by an FBS player this season (Northern Illinois’ Jordan Lynch had 316 yards on Oct. 19). Bibbs also scored a school-record four TDs to lead the nation with 19 rushing touchdowns.
727Ohio Dominican amassed a school-record 727 yards of offense in its 62-21 win against Lake Erie. The Panthers also set a school record by averaging 10.1 yards per play. Mark Nichols averaged a school-record 12.9 yards per carry, rushing for 142 yards on 11 carries. Ohio Dominican also stretched its unbeaten streak to 14 consecutive games, the longest in Division II.
1,252Mike Evans now has 1,252 receiving yards this season, passing Ryan Swope for most in a single season in Texas A&M history. Evans had five catches for 116 yards in the Aggies’ 51-41 win against Mississippi State.
