INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA has announced the field of 80 teams and 32 student-athletes that have been selected to participate in regional competition of the 2011 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships. The regional competitions will be conducted May 2-4.

The top five teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional (regardless of region) will advance to the finals May 16-20 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at The Shoals in Florence, Ala. The finals will be hosted by the University of North Alabama.

There will be four sites at which two regions will meet and conduct tournaments:

• Atlantic and East -- Hershey Links Golf Club, Hershey, Pa; hosted by Millersville University of Pennsylvania.

• South and Southeast -- Victoria Hills Golf Club, DeLand, Fla; hosted by the Sunshine State Conference and the Central Florida Sports Commission.

• Midwest and South Central -- Cherry Blossom Golf Club, Georgetown, Ky; hosted by Northern Kentucky University.

• Central and West -- Championships Course at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, N.M.; hosted by Western New Mexico University.
