ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- No. 9 Saint John's (Minn.) shot two-over par on the back nine to win a triangular by one stroke against No. 24 Concordia-Moorhead and Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Tony Krogen birdied No. 17 and Dennis Granath birdied No. 18 to clinch the victory for SJU, which shot a nine-over par 297. Concordia finished second with a 298 (10-over), followed by SJU Blue (15-over, 303) and Eau Claire (19-over, 307). Each school was permitted to play six instead of the usual five.

Granath, Krogen and Drew Lynch led the Johnnies with a two-over par 74 each. Casey Vangsness followed with a 75.
Derek Brinker led SJU Blue with a 74.

Concordia's Pat Deitz earned medalist honors with a two-under par 70, followed by teammate Coy Papachek with an even-par 72.
