NORMAL, Ill. -- First-ranked Illinois Wesleyan won its own 21-team invitational by seven shots against Nebraska Wesleyan, coming from behind on Saturday at Normal's Ironwood Golf Course.
The Titans had a second day score of 289 to finish at 592, ahead of second place Nebraska Wesleyan at 599.
Tony Albano carded a 70 on the final day and was the tournament medalist with an even par score of 144 (74-70) on the par 72, 7030 yard layout. Kenny Wienckowski (75-73) and Gabe Aprati (75-73) both shot 148 totals and tied for fifth.
The IWU "White" team finished tied for seventh with a total of 616 (316-300).
