HAMPSTEAD, Md. -- Senior Caroline Nathan won the eighth tournament in her career as Gettysburg continued to roll with its second consecutive team title at the Stevenson Spring Invitational at the Piney Branch Golf Club on Monday.

After winning its own invitational by 22 strokes last week, the Bullets turned in a 21-stroke victory on Monday with a score of 352. McDaniel followed at 373 and Alvernia was third at 378.

Nathan carded an 83 on the par-71, 6,100-yard course. She birdied the par-5, 524-yard second hole en route to a 40 on the front nine and closed with a 43 on the back. It was the senior’s second tournament title of the season and she trails only 2008 graduate Merrill Fortier’s nine individual medals on the program’s all-time list.

Sophomore Kara McNulty posted a pair of birdies and finished two strokes off the lead with 85 to claim runner-up. McDaniel’s Morgan Koopman joined Nathan and McNulty in the top three for the second consecutive outing with an 86.

All four Bullets competing finished in the top seven. Junior Molly Nulty posted a 91 to place in a tie for fifth, while senior Shelby Glass finished alone in seventh with a 93.
