Claremont-Mudd-Scripps wins season-opening SCIAC Preview

LA VERNE, Calif. – In its first tournament of the spring season, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps won the SCIAC Preview at Sierra La Verne Country Club with a combined score of 338. CMS finished ahead of Occidental (344) and Whittier (417).

Junior Shaina Raskin tied for first with Occidental's Katie Park with an 82. Senior Maya Reddy tied for second with three others with a score of 83. Two shots behind Reddy, junior Tiffany Su (85) finished in seventh, freshman Taylor Kain-Godoy (88) finished in eighth and sophomore Caroline Belmont (89) finished in ninth. Sophomore Melody Sue (92) also contributed to the team score while freshman Liberty Ramsey (100) and junior Kasvi Malik (92) competed as individuals.

Wesleyan (CT) wins the DIII women's tennis championship

The DIII women's tennis national championship ended on Wednesday, May 22. Wesleyan defeated Claremont-Mudd-Scipps.
