PACE, Fla. -- West Florida shot a team-wide 926 to take first place out of seven teams in the Argonaut Invitational held at the Stonebrook Golf Club. The Argonauts shot 612 in the first day’s action and then followed up with a 314 in the final day of play.
Daisy-May Kenny led the way for the Argos after placing second individually with a 13-over par 229 (76, 75, 78). Elin Olsson followed Kenny in third place after scoring 231.
Aimee Paterson carded a 234 (72, 83, 79) to finish fifth as West Florida had three individuals finish in the top five of the tournament. Camila Sevillano and Lily Kent shot 238 and 242, respectively, to round out the team scores for UWF, while Fanny Starzmann recorded a 249 (81, 83, 85) competing individually.
Saint Leo placed second in the tournament after posting a 947, 21 strokes behind the Argos, while Limestone rounded out the top three after shooting 956.
