FOXBORO, Mass. – Stonehill posted a 4-1 victory against Southern New Hampshire in Northeast-10 Conference action on Wednesday at the Foxboro Sports Center.

Junior forward Bryan Rooney scored two goals while senior captain and forward Dana Borges notched the game-winning goal at 9:01 of the second period. Borges also dished out his fifth assist of the season.

Sophomore goaltender Chris Tasiopoulos made a game-high 38 saves for the Skyhawks, including 14 in the third period. Junior forward Bill Carey opened up the scoring for Stonehill with his fourth marker of the season at 5:49 of the first period.

For the Penmen, sophomore forward Steven Berry tied up the contest with his first goal of the season in the opening period at 16:53.

Freshman forward Jim Gabrione and junior forward Connor Audycki were credited with assists on the tally.

Southern New Hampshire junior netminder Tyler Holske turned away 34 shots in the loss.

The Penmen went 1-for-3 in power play chances while Stonehill was 0-for-2 with the man advantage.
