The nation's No. 1 team looked every bit the part on Sunday, as top-ranked Wisconsin hammered Mercyhurst, 5-0, in the National Collegiate Women's Hockey championship game at Agganis Arena in Boston.

The Lakers, in their first-ever championship game appearance, out-shot the Badgers, 37-32, but Wisconsin goalie Jessie Vetter stopped everything that came here way -- including 18 saves in the third period -- to give Wisconsin the 2009 crown.

Angie Keseley provided the spark for the Badger offense, scoring a goal and assisting on two others.
