NCAA Release

INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA Division I Softball  Super Regionals, as well as the Division I Men's Lacrosse Semifinals and Championship, are being carried live by the ESPN family of networks.

ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and's most extensive NCAA Division I Softball Championship coverage ever will continue with the complete Super Regionals May 21-24.  It will mark the first time the networks will televise every game from the eight Super Regional sites.

From May 28 to June 3, ESPN, ESPN2 and will combine to televise every Women's College World Series game, including on ESPN HD and ESPN2 HD. - ESPN's signature live, sports broadband network - will simulcast every ESPN and ESPN2 telecast.

% - ESPN will showcase two games within one window and "whip-around" to most of the nation.  Viewers in the home markets of the competing teams will receive their local game in its entirety with constant updates from the other game.
The NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse National Semifinals and Championship from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., will be presented by ESPN HD, ESPN2 HD and through the Memorial Day Weekend.  On Saturday, May 23, on ESPN2 HD, No. 3 Duke will face off against No. 2 Syracuse for the first semifinal at noon, followed by No. 5 Cornell vs. No. 1 Virginia at 2 p.m.  The National Championship will air Monday, May 25, at 1 p.m. on ESPN HD, which will be preceded on ESPN HD by the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship Selection Show (Road to Omaha) at 12:30 p.m. 

In addition, for the second year in a row, ESPN HD and ESPN2 HD will utilize "SkyCam" at the Division I men's lacrosse championship final site , which gives an aerial camera angle of the field.  For a sixth consecutive year, officials will wear wireless mics to bring viewers closer to the on-field atmosphere.

The ESPN networks will televise all 15 games from the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship.  In 2009, ESPNU featured 30 Division I regular-season lacrosse games in national telecasts, including unprecedented coverage of 12 in high definition on ESPNU HD and ESPN2 HD.
