MANCHESTER, N.H. – Brittany Brigandi totaled four goals and an assist as top-ranked Le Moyne posted a 16-8 Northeast-10 victory against Southern New Hampshire on Friday afternoon. The Dolphins improved to 9-0 and 6-0 in the NE-10, while the Penmen are now 2-8 and 1-6 in the league.

In addition to Brigandi, three other players finished with three goals apiece for Le Moyne. Kelly Condon, Kathleen Conese and Brenna Bauer all finished with three goals and two assists.

Emily Mongeau led Southern New Hampshire with five goals and a pair of assists, while Sara Halbich, Emily King and Ellie Morin all added single tallies.

The Penmen stormed out to a 4-0 lead as Mongeau scored four times in the game’s first 2:25. Le Moyne would hold Southern New Hampshire scoreless the rest of the half as it scored eight unanswered goals, taking a 5-4 lead 6:15 before halftime on a Condon goal.

Morin scored 1:02 into the second half to pull the Penmen within 8-5, but Le Moyne gradually pulled away, with the Dolphins scoring the final three goals of the game.

Kelly Fucillo made nine saves in goal en route to the victory for Le Moyne, while SNHU netminder Kellie Renk turned aside nine shots. The Dolphins outshot the Penmen 33-30.
