After suffering only one loss so far this season, Lindenwood earned a spot in the coaches' poll top 15 for the first national ranking in its NCAA history.

The Lady Lions were tied for 15th in the latest IWLCA Coaches' Poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Lindenwood, which is also the first WILA program to be ranked, received 11 points in the poll and was tied with Mercyhurst for the final spot in the ranking. The Lady Lions have been receiving votes in the poll for most of this season. LIU Post is the No. 1 team in the country after receiving all 15 first-place votes.

Lindenwood is currently 12-1 on the season, with its lone loss being a one-goal setback against Rollins, the No. 4 team this week. The Lady Lions can clinch their consecutive WILA Championship on Thursday when they host Regis at 7 p.m. at Hunter Stadium.
