SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Fourth-ranked Le Moyne scored four unanswered goals late in the second half to open up an insurmountable lead and walk away with a 12-9 victory against seventh-ranked West Chester on Friday.

West Chester (12-4) is 3-4 in its past seven games, after opening the year on a nine-game winning streak. Meanwhile, Le Moyne (13-2) avenged its loss to the Golden Rams from a year ago.

Jennifer Fabian's 18th goal of the year with 14 minutes remaining broke an eight-all tie and sparked the Dolphins' decisive four-goal run. Kathleen Conese, Maggie Monnat and Kaitlyn Armstrong followed with scores to put Le Moyne on top 12-8 with seven minutes remaining.

Sarah Dennison found the back of the net for her second goal of the game with 4:30 left to close the scoring.

Jess Henderson (11-4) made nine saves in the cage in the loss while LeMoyne's Molly Marbut was credited with seven.

Jamie Dolan led all West Chester scorers with three goals. She added one assist for four points. Dennison and Brittany Long each scored twice as well for the Golden Rams. Tori Dugan was held without a point in the contest, ending a 56-game point streak. She had registered at least one point in every game since joing West Chester's team her sophomore year.

Lauren Glassey scored a goal and registered an assist.

Twin sisters Maggie and Claire Monnat led the way for Le Moyne as they both delivered hat tricks in the win.
