No. 2 Boston College women's lacrosse found its perfect season in jeopardy Thursday night in the waning seconds against No. 16 Syracuse in its regular season finale.
Sam Apuzzo had different plans.

With 1.7 seconds remaining in regulation, Apuzzo scored an unbelievable goal in front of the cage to give Boston College a 13-12 win to cap off a 17-0 regular season.

Apuzzo finished with eight points (five goals, three assists) on Thursday, bringing her season total to 99 points (68 goals, 31 assists). Last year, she became the first BC player in program history to reach the 100-point mark en route to the Eagles' NCAA championship runner-up finish.
