DII Festival by the numbers

Winter championships are almost upon us, and with championships comes the Division II Festival. This year more than 1,000 student-athletes will travel to Birmingham, Ala. to compete in five championships from March 7 to 11. To get ready for this exciting event, here are a few numbers to know heading into the 2017 NCAA Division II National Championship Festival:

Division I Council extends eligibility for student-athletes impacted by COVID-19

The NCAA Division I Council on Monday voted to allow schools to provide spring-sport student-athletes an additional season of competition and an extension of their period of eligibility.
