Connecticut 2, Marist 1 (OT)



STORRS, Conn. -- UConn's Chukwudi Chijindu scored just 90 seconds into the first overtime to lift the homestanding Huskies to a 2-1 overtime victory over Marist Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament. UConn improved to 12-7-3 with the win, while Marist finished the season at 11-8 overall.

The Huskies scored just after halftime to take a 1-0 lead before Marist's Anthony Graci netted a header with two minutes left in regulation to send the match to the extra session.

The Huskies advance to face 15th-seeded Boston College in the second round on Tuesday.
