Greensboro, N.C. -- David McClelan scored in the 60th minute to lift Messiah College (22-2) over Salisbury (20-1-3), 1-0, in a NCAA Division III semifinal match. Aaron Casper earned the assist.

On the scoring play, Messiah played a short corner that Casper crossed. McClelan head the ball past Sea Gull goalkeeper Jason Cranford (3 saves). Messiah's Dustin Shambach stopped 4 shots. The Falcons out shot SU, 20-6.

Messiah advances to face UC Santa Cruz. Game time is 5 p.m. on Saturday.
