Key Notes: Three games into the 2011 season, Townsend has scored three goals for the Terrapin offense which totaled 10 games thus far. Townsend scored nine goals and added five assists in 2010 to earn him first team All-ACC honors in addition to being named to the 2011 Hermann Trophy watch list.

Keep Your Eyes on This

Division I: The race for the ACC championship kicks off this weekend when No. 2 Maryland takes on No. 8 Boston College. As of right now it appears to be a three-team race between the Terrapins, Eagles and the new No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels.

Division II: No. 3 Midwestern State has won its last 34 regular season games and its last 33 home games, but go on the road this weekend for the first time this season to take on upset-minded Colorado State-Pueblo and Colorado-Colorado Springs.

Division III: Trinity has yet to allow a goal this season with goalkeeper Tim Nelin owning three clean sheets for the new No. 1 team in the nation.
