WINTER PARK, Fla. -- Rollins rebounded from its first loss of the season in a big way Friday as the Tars defeated Palm Beach Atlantic 2-0.

Rollins moves to 8-1-0 on the season while Palm Beach Atlantic evens its record at 5-5.

Nick Sowers got the scoring going in the 33rd minute as he intercepted a ball in the midfield and drove 20 yards for a hard strike.

The Tars lead doubled in the 54th minute when Sowers found some space on the right side and laid a pass to Daniel Salazar at the top of the box. Salazar then buried it into the upper-90 to make the count 2-0.

Keneil Baker was busy between the posts, but stopped all six shots that came his way.

DENVER, Colo. -- Thomas Hoang scored in the 62nd minute as Fort Lewis (11-0-0 overall, 7-0-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) defeated Metro State (7-3-1, 5-3-1) 1-0 Friday.

With the Fort Lewis crowd chanting, “Thomas, Thomas, get us a goal,” the senior midfielder responded, drilling a shot from the top of the box off a Roadrunner defender into the net in the 62nd minute to put the Skyhawks on top 1-0. The marker was Hoang's fourth of the season.

Ryan Wirth was huge in goal for the Skyhawks, making eight saves to record his seventh shutout of the season. Two of Wirth's stops came in the final minute of play.

No. 4 Northern Kentucky 5, Saint Joseph 1
RENSSELAER, Ind. -- Five Northern Kentucky players netted goals Friday night as the Norse posted a 5-1 victory at Saint Joseph's.

Michael Holder scored a goal and added an assist for Northern Kentucky. The Norse improved to 10-1 overall, 8-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Northern Kentucky is now 23-2-3 all-time against Saint Joseph's, which dropped to 4-5-2 overall, 4-3-2 in the GLVC.

Holder began the Northern Kentucky scoring at the 25:16 mark by heading in a throw-in from Anthony Meyers, who had launched the ball into the box from the left sideline. Holder finished with his fourth goal of the season.
