Sophomore Jamroz finds net twice as SCAD Savannah shocks No. 4 Flagler
HARDEEVILLE, S.C. -- Alex Jamroz scored a pair of goals to help lead SCAD-Savannah to a 2-1 upset victory against No. 4 Flagler in a non-conference match.
SCAD improved to 2-3-0 overall while Flagler suffered its first set-back and fell to 2-1-1.
Jamroz netted the game-winner in the 76th minute when he buried a pass from Nial Doherty in the bottom left corner of the goal.
Flagler's Triston Hall scored the first goal of the match when he took Jean Vega’s pass and found an opening in the 18-yard box and then blasted a shot in the back of the net in the 10th minute.
Jamroz scored the equalizer for the Bees when he headed in a cross from Theo Angus in the 21st minute.
Josh Brown tallied five saves for the Bees while Camp Bissell also recorded five saves for the Saints.
SCAD outshot Flagler 17-16 and held a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
