Amherst wins

BANGOR, Maine -- Amherst, tied for third in the latest NSCAA coaches' poll moves to 9-0-2 on its season after a nonconference against Husson. Amherst used three first-half goals by Christopher Martin, Greg Singer and Bubba Van Wie. 

Amherst held its competitor to one shot during the course of the entire game. Amherst itself took 45 shots during regualtion. 

Husson goalie Brian Potter made three saves during the game. With the loss, Husson falls to 5-5-3 for the season. 

Wesleyan (CT) wins the DIII women's tennis championship

The DIII women's tennis national championship ended on Wednesday, May 22. Wesleyan defeated Claremont-Mudd-Scipps.
