Lost 2-1 to UCLA on Sunday.Steve Birnbaum tallied his Pac-12 leading eighth goal of the season when he scored in the 86th minute of Cal's win against Stanford.

Lost 1-0 to St. John's on Saturday.Thomas Gomez broke the record for career shutouts posting 23 as well as season shutouts with nine to his credit this year.

No. 9 Akron

Beat Michigan 2-1 on Oct. 30.In all, Akron is 24-4-5 versus teams from the Big Ten since 2007. During that time, the Zips have out-scored their competition 60-21.

No. 10 Marquette

  • Fri.  vs. Marquette
Beat Seton Hall 2-1 on Saturday.Eight different Marquette players have found the back of the net this season, led by C. Nortey's 16 points and team-best seven goals.
