Wartburg scores four against Dominican (Ill.)

WAVERLY, Iowa -- Wartburg (16-4-2 overall) advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament with its 4-0 win against Dominican (Ill.) on Friday.

Michel Levine put the Knights on the scoreboard with his second goal of the season into the lower left corner of the net at 30:11.

The Orange and Black remained ahead through halftime and sophomore Chris Nothnick doubled the team's lead as he connected on a pass from Peter Tran and scored on the open net.

Tran netted his first goal of the season at 72:37 on a pass from Osvaldo Carillo.

Freshman Paris Martins put the game out of reach with his eighth goal of the year at 76:03. Sophomore Kevin Krueger had the assist.

Wartburg will play at 5 p.m. on Saturday against the winner of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Hope.
