Rockhurst wins on Senior Day

Rockhust honors its seniors.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Mark Magee scored two goals and assisted on another to lead No. 9 Rockhurst to a 4-0 victory against Saint Joseph's (Ind.) on Sunday at Bourke Field. The Hawks remained in fourth place in the GLVC with a 9-3-3 league record.

Ten seniors were honored after the game on Senior Day: Ryan Bass, Paolo Scoppola, Magee, Sean Verbanic, Nate Siesener, Oussie Gueye, Nick McDonald, Jon Schreiber, George Skevington and Jake Grimes.

Magee gave the Hawks a 2-0 lead with goals in the 29th and 53rd minutes. Magee leads the team with 10 goals. Verbanic and Chi Ngwefang added goals in the second half. Magee and Verbanic led the Hawks with four shots apiece. Jamison Wipke and Kristin Wolff both finished with a pair of assists.

The Hawks are 11-3-2 overall. Saint Joseph's fell to 2-14-1.
