West Windsor, NJ& The College of New Jersey womens soccer team collected a 1-0 win over Stevens Institute of Technology while Denison University advanced in a penalty kicks over Otterbein College in the sectionals of the 2005 NCAA Division III Womens Soccer Championships at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, New Jersey on Saturday. TCNJ and Denison will meet on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. with the winner advancing to next weeks National semifinals.

TCNJs freshman forward Jamie Kunkel (Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape) scored the only goal of the match off a corner kick from sophomore Kristen Cubicciotti (North Haledon, NJ/Immaculate Heart Academy) at 30:04. The goal was the fourth of the year for Kunkel and her second straight game-winner of the year, having added the game-winner in the Lions 5-0 NCAA win over Westminster last week.

TCNJ, ranked second in the NSCAA Division III poll, remain undefeated at 20-0 and move into the sectional championship round of the tournament to face Denison University, while Stevens season comes to an end at 20-3. Earlier in the year, TCNJ tallied a 4-0 win over Stevens on October 19 in the regular-season.

In goal for the Lions, Alissa Kacar (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) made two saves in recording her 14th shutout of the year and the Lions 19th of the season. For Stevens, junior Erica Midttveit (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial) finished with six saves in the match.

The Lions held a 16-6 edge in shots as the Lions have not allowed a goal in the last 15 matches.
