UCLA scored twice in the final seven minutes of the first half to take control against Florida State.
DiMartino sent a slow roller past the Florida State defense 6:52 before the break. Four minutes later, Danesha Adams scored on a header off Iris Mora's free kick from the wing.
DiMartino scored again 14 minutes into the second half, lofting a right-footed shot over goalkeeper Ali Mims. Kara Lang added another goal with 12:16 left.
The Bruins' defense did the rest, earning the team's 18th shutout of the season. UCLA is trying to become the second team in the last three years to win the championship without allowing a goal in the six-game postseason. North Carolina did it in 2003.
Florida State (20-4-1) reached the semifinals for the second time in three years. The Seminoles lost 2-0 to Connecticut in 2003.
Florida State sophomore defender Melissa Samokishyin was taken off the field on a stretcher after breaking her left leg in a collision with UCLA goalkeeper Valerie Henderson with 5:49 left.
The Seminoles hardly tested Henderson, who faced only nine shots.
