REDLANDS, Cali. -- No. 5 Emory battled back from a one goal deficit, forcing a 1-1 double-overtime tie with No. 19 Redlands on Monday night.

Trailing 1-0 in the first half after a seventh-minute goal scored by the Bulldog's Fionna Connolly, Emory's Charlotte Butker scored her first collegiate goal in the 25th minute to tie the match at a goal apiece.

After Butker's equalizer, neither team scored the rest of regulation, or in either of the two overtime periods, forcing the tie.

Junior goalkeeper Kaele Leonard played the entire second half and both overtimes for Emory, finishing the game with three saves.  Junior Erica Stein played the first half, making one save and taking the decision to move her record to 1-0-1 on the year.

Emory outshot Redlands 15-14 in the game, including an 8-5 advantage in shots on goal, and a 7-6 edge in corner kicks.
