KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Saint Rose is not ranked among the nation's top-10 teams for the first time in nearly a year. The Golden Knights (9-1-2) fell out of the No. 1 spot to No. 17 in the latest NSCAA Division II Top-25 Poll.

Check out the full rankings.

Saint Rose was ranked No. 1 throughout four of the first five polls this year, but is coming off a 0-1-1 week that consisted of last Tuesday's 1-0 2OT setback to visiting Northeast-10 Conference rival American International. The Yellow Jackets have subsequently catapulted from No. 25 to No. 16 in the rankings.

Following Tuesday's setback, Saint Rose played to a 1-1 2OT draw at Saint Anselm on Saturday and then upended visiting Mercy 3-0 Monday, although the latter contest is not figured in the current rankings.

West Florida (11-0-0) has taken over the spot, with its Monday loss to Armstrong Atlantic not figuring into the poll. The Argonauts are followed by West Chester (10-0-1), Minnesota State-Mankato (10-1-1), Grand Valley State (10-0-2) and Armstrong Atlantic State (8-1-1).

As for Saint Rose, the Golden Knights are currently fourth nationally in scoring offense and 33rd in team goals-against-average among 300 listed squads.

Junior forward Carmelina Puopolo, the Saint Rose's all-time leading scorer with 116 career points (41-34-116), stands among the country's top-10 individuals in every major offensive category. She is second with 34 points, third behind 10 assists, and stands 10th with 12 goals; all of which pace the NE-10.
