Millersville, Pa. -- Millersville (5-8-5, 2-8-4 PSAC) played the role of spoiler against No. 7 West Chester with a 1-0 victory on Saturday. The Golden Rams had the opportunity to win the PSAC regular season outright, but Millersville ended those hopes with the upset win.

West Chester (10-3-1, 10-3-1 PSAC) suffered its third loss and first shutout defeat of the season. Millersville goalkeeper Olivia Webber completed her freshman campaign with 11 saves - marking her fourth game (third in a row) with double-digit saves. Webber's 126 saves are the most by a Marauder since 2006.

West Chester totaled 31 shots, including 19 in the second half while Millersville recorded just six shots and put only two on goal.

In the 73rd minute, Sara Cressman passed across the box to freshman Megan Kelley, who beat Shannon Fedyk for the game-winner. The goal was Kelley's team-leading fourth of the season.

The win was just the sixth win in 24 tries for Millersville against West Chester, and the first since 2004.
