Coach vs. player

Soccer players aren't known for their arm strength. The North Carolina women's soccer team confirmed that belief.

Coach Anson Dorrance handily defeated sophomore Lindsey Harris in an arm-wrestlng competition in front of teammates at what appeared to be a team outing.

It is worth noting, however, that Dorrance appeared to have jumped too early, much to the chagrin of Harris, and may have contributed to the lop-sided outcome.

The Tar Heels open the season Friday when they play host to Stanford.
