Florida women's soccer releases tribute video for Abby Wambach

Soccer fans across the United States said goodbye to one of its greatest players as Abby Wambach played her final match on Wednesday night.

Before she went on to win two World Cups and two gold medals with USWNT, Wambach started her career in Gainesville at the University of Florida. Her alma mater paid tribute to Wambach with a special video full of highlights from her time with the Gators.

Wambach holds the Gators and SEC record for most career goals (96) and started as a freshman on Florida's 1998 NCAA championship team when the Gators defeated powerhouse North Carolina, 1-0.
