Warriors are No. 8 in latest NFCA Top 25
STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Despite dropping their first game of the year last week, the Angelo State Rambelles garnered enough votes to remain the top team in the NFCA Division II Top 25 poll for the second straight week, according to the latest poll released by the organization on Wednesday.
Angelo State (20-1) garnered 13 of 16 first-place votes and finished 14 points ahead of second-place North Georgia (20-2), who received one first-place vote. Valdosta State (7-1) dropped from second to third this week after losing its first game, but still received two first-place votes. Holding strong in fourth and fifth this week were Alabama-Huntsville (9-0-1) and Hawai’i Pacific, respectively.
