ST. PAUL, Minn. -- No. 18 St. Thomas (Minn.) got 22 hits from 15 different players in Monday's 7-0, 11-0 doubleheader sweep of St. Catherine.

The Tommies (30-6 overall, 17-1 MIAC) stayed in a share of the conference lead with Gustavus Adolphus. St. Thomas also reached 30 wins for the 13th consecutive season.

Three Tommie pitchers held the Wildcats to five hits and no runs in 12 innings. St. Thomas pitchers have not allowed a run in their last 27 innings. Treya Connell allowed one hit in four innings to get the game-one victory. Christy Gries pitched the last three innings to get the win in game two.

Tisa Phinney hit a two-run homer in the first inning of game two.
