No. 16 Louisiana-Lafayette sweeps No. 14 Baylor in non-conference play

WACO, Texas -- No. 16 Baylor (32-12) fell twice to Louisiana (35-7-1) Tuesday at Getterman Stadium falling 7-4 in game one and 5-2 in game two. ULL has now defeated Baylor three times this season.

In Game 1, ULL was scoreless fo four innings before scoring three runs in the fifth and two runs in the sixth to pull away from the Lady Bears. Holly Holl homered in the loss for BU and Whitney Canion picked up the loss in six innings of work.

In the second game, Baylor knotted the score at four in the bottom of the fifth when Riley Browder scored on a wild pitch, however, the Rajin’ Cajuns would score two in the sixth and one in the seventh to cap the sweep. Baylor had three errors in the field in the second game, and Heather Stearns picked up the loss in the circle for BU.
