Baserunning perfection. That's what the Mississippi State softball team pulled off in the second inning on Friday against LSU.
With runners on second and third with no outs, Bulldogs second baseman Cayln Adams hit a soft grounder to Tigers pitcher Carley Hoover. Somehow, someway, Mississippi State escaped the play with the bases loaded and no outs.
Hoover went home with the ball, and the pickle was on. From there, the Bulldogs did a magnificent job of staying close to the bases and evading tags throughout the long rundown and ultimately got the best of the Tigers.
You have to see the incredible play for yourself:
Beautifully orchestrated by the Bulldogs and it'll go down as the most unique fielders choice you've seen.#SBW16https://t.co/3JaMVEQ5AN

The play proved to be a huge turning point in the game. Mississippi State scored four runs in the inning and eventually upset No. 11 LSU, 7-2.
