Oklahoma clinched its third Women's College World Series title on Wednesday with a nail-biting ending in the top of the seventh inning. With the score in favor of the Sooners 2-1 and two outs, Auburn's Courtney Shea kept fouling off pitch after pitch against Sooners ace Paige Parker.
While Shea battled a total of 11 pitches during her at-bat, a ground ball rolled to second baseman Caleigh Clifton, who tossed it to Shay Knighten for the final out:

It is only fitting the final out came with Parker on the mound, who earned her 27th straight win to close out the title season.
