Oklahoma thought it had the Women’s College World Series wrapped up on Tuesday night, but it’s funny how things work out. Auburn scored 11 unanswered runs to win Game 2, and the Sooners had a win-or-go home Game 3 on their hands.
The rest is history. Paige Parker was her brilliant self, allowing just one run in seven innings, and Oklahoma captured the national title. Their celebration? Sheer bliss.
