No. 16 St. Cloud State sweeps Wisconsin-La Crosse in dual meet
ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- The nationally-ranked St. Cloud State men's and women's swimming and diving squads hosted Wisconsin-La Crosse on Sunday in a dual meet. The No. 16 St. Cloud State men defeated the Eagles 195-104 and the No. 16 women were victorious 167-131.
The St. Cloud State men won 12 of their 16 total events. The women won 11 of their 16 total events.
Stephanie Crandall finished with three first-place finishes. Crandall was a member of the 200 medley relay alongside Abby Rasmussen, Erin Hart and Kelsey Leeson that finished with a time of 1:49.53. Crandall also won the 100 butterfly in 59.05 and the 50 butterfly in 26.45.
Three St. Cloud State women, Erin Hart, Abby Rasmussen and Ali Domeier, finished with two first-place finishes each.
Five St. Cloud State men, Bob Simson, Jake Stoll, Napoleon Howell, Jake Hausauer and Alex Bryson, finished with two first-place finishes each.
Tori Raihle won the women's 1-meter dive with a score of 249.7. Luke Weber took the 3-meter title with a score of 366.55. Tyler Magalis won the 1-meter with a score of 336.75.
