GREENCASTLE, Ind. —  Washington University, ranked 14th in Division III, advanced to the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship second round with a 6-0 opening round win over Manchester.

Washington improved to 15-6 with the win and faces 12th-ranked DePauw at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the second round. Manchester finished its season at 9-8.

The Bears swept the doubles and lost just one game in taking a 3-0 lead. They then completed the win with straight set victories at second, third and sixth singles.
