Hope capped off a MIAA championship season by winning the conference tournament and earning a berth in the NCAA tournament behind a 5-2 victory against Albion on Friday afternoon. The win improved Hope's dual match record to 18-7 on the season. Hope will be appearing as a team in the NCAA championships for a seventh time, including its first appearance since 2009.

The Flying Dutch took two of the three doubles matches contested. Hope's Carli Capestany and Leah LaBarge picked up a 8-6 victory at No. 1 doubles against Albion's Marissa Cloutier and Irene Chen. Shelby Schulz and Mallory Smith earned a 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles for Hope by downing the Albion duo of Katie Blumberg and Sarah Towler. Albion's Marissa Messenger and Leah Sauman were able to salvage the final doubles point by topping Hope's Andrea Pickelman and Hannah Schulz by a 8-4 margin.

Once the match moved to singles play Hope was able to gain the necessary three points it needed for victory in quick fashion. The deciding point came at No. 1 singles where Hope's Capestany defeated Albion's Cloutier 6-2, 6-3. Cloutier had defeated Capestany in the regular season matchup 6-0, 6-1. Bieri and Smith added the other two singles wins for Hope while Chen delivered Albion's only singles victory of the match.
