BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Titans tallied 139 points, just behind first and second place teams North Central (Ill.) (191) and Carthage (149.5), respectively.
Allie Boudreau, who broke a CCIW pentathlon record (3,346) yesterday with 3,587 points, was named field athlete of the meet. The junior also finished second in the 400-meter dash in a time of 57.48, helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a second-place showing.
Nia Joiner won the 60-meter dash in a time of 7.67, while also finished third in the long jump (17'09.5").
Angela Herrmann finished second in the 200-meter dash in 26.31. In the 800-meter run, Maddison Zimmer finished in 2:22.46 for a sixth-place showing. Ashley Miller finished ninth in the mile run in 5:33.39. Jill Harmon earned fourth in the 60-meter hurdles, clocking 9.22.
Carmin Beck took fourth in the 3,000-meter run in 10:22.54 and also finished second in the 5,000-meter run in a time of 18:01.10.
The 4x400-meter relay team consisting of Zimmer, Morgan Ransom, Herrmann, and Boudreau finished second in a time of 3:59.02.
Ellen Renk won the long jump with a leap of 18'01," and also finished second in the triple jump in 37'09.25."
Liz Oltman took ninth in the high jump, leaping 4'11.75," while Jamie Gradishar finished fifth in the pole vault with a 10'10" jump.
