ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union won four different events on the first day of the John Homon Open on Saturday at Mount Union Stadium.
Two of the wins set top-three marks in NCAA Division III this season.
Junior Sean Donnelly won the hammer throw with a mark of 187-feet, 2 inches -- which is the second-best mark so far this season in NCAA Division III -- while freshman Jason Paulovich won the long jump with a mark of 23-feet, 1.25 inches -- that is the third-best mark in NCAA Division III so far in 2014.
The two other wins came from freshman Zach Wukotich who won the high jump (6-7) and sophomore Tyler Orewiler who won the pole vault (15-0.25).
