NEW YORK -- No. 14 Baruch played two CUNYAC home matches on Thursday night.

The Bearcats began the evening with a showdown against No. 12 Hunter.

The Hawks totaled 48 kills hitting .302 to record a four-set victory (25-17, 12-25, 25-21, 25-14). The Bearcats totaled 47 kills, but only hit .221 for the match.

Jack McKee led the Bearcats with 18 kills hitting .350. He also added six digs and two blocks. Steven Coniglio finished with nine kills hitting .500, while Danny Olson dished out 38 assists and totaled six digs.

Gabe Rivera also had a solid match against Hunter with seven kills and nine digs.

Hunter had four players with nine or more kills. Chris Newcomb led the visiting Hawks with 13 kills (.417) and eight digs.

In the second match, the Bearcats swept John Jay 25-11, 25-11, 25-9.

The Bearcats played their entire roster with four players recording at least five kills. Aviv Elias and Christopher Kaimis (.857) led the team with seven kills each. Sam Park dished out 27 assists and totaled six digs. Dan Alon contributed five kills.

Nicholas Todaro led visiting John Jay with four kills and three digs.
