NCAA announces field of nine teams for Men's Volleyball Championship
INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball Committee announced Sunday the field of nine teams for the 2013 NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball Championship.
Six conferences were awarded automatic qualification for the 2013 championship. One team was selected from Pool B, which consists of independent institutions and institutions that are members of conferences that do not meet the requirements for automatic qualification. The final two berths were reserved for Pool C, which consists of institutions from automatic-qualifying conferences that are not the conference champion and any remaining Pool B teams.
Endicott will host the first-round matchup against Kean on April 20 in Beverly, Mass.
Competition at the championship site will be April 26-28 at duPont Athletic Center-Rockwell Cage, hosted by MIT.
