Robin Rostratter
Defensive Specialist

Key Notes: Over the course of three matches last week, Rostratter made 69 digs, averaging nearly seven per set. She also chipped in five assists, four of which came against Utah on Sept. 17. On Sept. 13 in the biggest match of the season to date -- at home against rival Stanford -- Rostratter posted 29 digs.

Other Players to Watch this Weekend:  Stanford's Rachel Williams (Sophomore, Outside Hitter), California's Correy Johnson (Junior, Middle Hitter), Texas' Rachael Adams (Senior, Middle Blocker), Stanford's Lydia Bai (Freshman, Outside Hitter), UCLA's Kelly Reeves (Sophomore, Outside Hitter), Penn State's Ariel Scott (Sophomore, Middle Hitter), USC's Sara Shaw (Sophomore, Outside Hitter).

• Emotions - and pressure - will be running high at UCLA this weekend. The Bruins play host to No. 2 Stanford on Friday night and top-ranked California on Saturday night. Before Friday's match, the Bruins will honor the 1991 national championship team on its 20th anniversary.

• With conference play firmly under way across the country, the volitility we saw in the rankings over the past few weeks appears to have subsided. The only changes in this week's top 10 are No. 6 Florida and No. 7 UCLA swapping spots from last week.

• It looks like football isn't the only thing making news this fall at Florida State. The Seminoles returned to the top 25 this week, entering at No. 23, their highest position of the season. They won their conference opener against No. 21 Miami (Fla.) last week. Now they face Virginia on Friday and Virginia Tech on Saturday.
