•Stanford's Carly Wopat became the first player in Pac-12 history to be named both the offensive player of the week and the defensive player of the week in the same season. She was the defensive pick on Sept. 12 and was named the offensive player of the week on Oct. 3.

• Hawaii returned to the top 10 in the AVCA Coaches' Poll on Monday, slotting in at No. 9, its high ranking of the season. The Rainbow Wahine are currently 14-1 overall and 4-0 in the WAC after defeating Nevada on Thursday and Fresno State on Saturday. It was the largest leap of the season between rankings.

• No. 11 Purdue suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday night, losing to top-ranked Illinois. The Boilermakers have to get right back on the horse this weekend, as they'll face No. 6 Nebraska on Friday night.
